Josh Ciechanowski

Hi. I'm Josh. I've been a qualified PT based in Melbourne Australia for over 12 years. I'm passionate about sharing my love of movement with as many people as possible. So many people choose to be unhealthy, in pain, dependant on medication to get through the day and see decline with age as inevitable. I challenge all that, and believe that appropriate, regular movement, sound nutrition and stress managment can give you your life back.

I have a bredth of experience in working with people from all walks of life. My approach is consultative, collaborative, supportive and inspirational. I have a particular passion for effective movement which encompasses a range of techniques including but not limited to functional training, bodyweight training, boxing, callisthenics & powerlifting. I find inspiration in evolutionary biology and what movements we were designed to be able to do as humans. Move in this way and your body will reward you in myriad ways. Some of the benefits are obvious like weight loss, strength development, pain reduction & increased energy whilst others are more subtle and may surprise you like improved back health & posture, improved sleep, elevated mood, reduced levels of stress & anxiety, improvements in self-confidence, sexual health and improved coping mechanisms and resilience to name a few.

No matter your age, level of fitness, how much you weigh, whether or not you believe you can do it or not, I know I can help you. I'll work out a program that's appropriate and sufficiently challenging to stimulate change without being overwhelming and designed to get you into great shape and maybe even the best shape of your life. Once you discover the multitude of benefits, you'll wonder why you didn't start sooner.

Nobody is just one thing.

Sure, I’m an experienced, qualified personal trainer. I’m passionate about wellness and movement and want to inspire as many people as possible to take control of their health for a longer, happier life without letting disease and pain steal their joy wthout a fight.

Importantly, I’m not perfect and you’re not perfect. Nobody is. Let’s be fallible and imperfect together. Long live chocolate, coffee, whisky and food in all it’s glory. I believe life should be lived to the fullest. We should all find our own perfect balance between our ideal lifestyle, well-being, strength, mobility and body composition. Say no to extremes and focus on good habits that you can sustain consistently and that support your life and help you feel your best.
