Regardless of which camp you fall into, you might want to consider getting some support, encouragement and guidance whilst you're feeling a little shaky about get started.
Once you have the momentum of good habits, the results will inspire you and you won't need to motivate yourself anymore. At this point you will be annoyed if you can't train. The aches and pains and lethargy of inactivity will be a distant memory and you'll do whatever it takes to not go back there.
Every day you'll look at yourself differently. Your inner voice will change its story. Not longer are you the kind of person who makes excuses and feels guilty about not doing more but you'll be your own inspiration and an inspiration to others who look to you for cues on how to be.
